This autumn sees the opening of Pan Pacific London, a new luxury hotel based in the centre of the capital, focused on futuristic and holistic health and wellbeing.
Currently being built with a launch date of September 2021, Pan Pacific London has already attracted lots of buzz and awards for its scale and architecture, before the building has even been completed.
Located at One Bishopsgate Plaza, as the City’s new landmark tower, Pan Pacific London is ear-marked to be one of the most innovative health and wellbeing getaways in the capital, integrating fitness, nutrition, treatments and mindfulness.
It will feature 237 guestrooms and suites; two restaurant, bars and an 18.5m indoor infinity pool as well as two floors of meeting rooms and the largest ballroom in the square mile. However, it’s the hotel’s commitment to health and wellbeing that is truly remarkable.
Pan Pacific London will sport an impressive 1,083m² floor space dedicated to holistic wellness decked out with the most technologically advanced facilities showcased by any hotel gym in the UK.
Guests of the hotel will have exclusive access to a high-performance training zone within the hotel, which includes the TecnoBody® D-wall training system that has a worldwide following among medical and sporting professionals. The system uses a sophisticated technology in body recognition to engage guests through their course of training using virtual functionality in a dedicated performance zone. Guests will get real time biofeedback and information on long-term joint health through mindful training.
On hand will be wellbeing experts who can interpret the analysis for guests, giving an in-depth understanding and live feedback of problematic areas, nutrient deficiencies, sleeping disorders and stresses which may be preventing the body from achieving optimum health. Where do we sign up!
For those inclined to more gentle wellbeing and aquatic pursuits, the hotel’s 18.5 metre infinity pool will be a welcome stop or treatments and relaxation in the hotel’s South East Asian-inspired spa which uses influence from Western science and clinical research.
It’s clear that the hotel has guests’ rest and relaxation as a core function.
Speaking about the Pan Pacific London’s focus on wellbeing, general manager, Anne Golden, said: “The modern traveller’s needs in accommodation are changing – people desire more than a traditional hotel experience and for many guests, wellness is a key factor when deciding where they would like to stay. Once regarded as a luxury add on, the idea of wellbeing is now infused into every aspect of our day-to-day lives.”
“We are offering a comprehensive new destination for wellness, recognising that now more than ever there is a need for a sense of greater wellbeing and a profound shift in the way people perceive health. Our wellness experience was conceived with the purpose of creating innovative solutions as an antidote to the ailments of busy, stressful living.”
A futuristic focus on wellbeing, soothing treatments and luxury accommodation, we’ve no doubt that the Pan Pacific London will be a popular destination in the capital for international visitors and those who require a spot of pampering every once in a while.
Look out for the Melan Magazine review once the hotel opens.
