Former First Lady, Michelle Obama launches her new podcast later this month, promising to share with listeners her thoughts on relationships and how we can get the best from them.
The Michelle Obama Podcast is the first title in a multi-series multi-year partnership between the Obamas production company, Higher Ground and Spotify.
Hosted by Michelle Obama, the Spotify series will delve into the former First Lady’s most candid and personal conversations, showing us what’s possible when we allow ourselves to be vulnerable, to open up, and to focus on what matters most.
Episode topics will focus on the relationships that shape us, from siblings and close friends to partners, parents, and mentors to our relationship with ourselves and our health. Joining the First Lady will be an array of special guests.
Speaking about her new project, Michelle Obama said: “My hope is that this series can be a place to explore meaningful topics together and sort through so many of the questions we’re all trying to answer in our own lives.
“I hope this podcast will help listeners open up new conversations—and hard conversations—with the people who matter most to them.”
“Perhaps most of all, I hope this podcast will help listeners open up new conversations—and hard conversations—with the people who matter most to them. That’s how we can build more understanding and empathy for one another.”
In addition to this Spotify partnership, fans of the Obamas can look forward to more content via their Higher Ground production company, in a multi-year deal with Netflix to produce a wide range of scripted, unscripted and documentary-style series, as well as feature-length narrative and documentary films.
