Taste of London is returning to London for a 10-day smorgasbord for foodies spread over two long weekends in July.

Taking place over two long weekends (7 – 11 July and 14 – 18 July) in Regent’s Park, Taste of London is one food and drink festival that you don’t want to miss.

Organisers have revealed an impressive 25 new restaurants and chefs joining the diverse restaurant line-up, so if you’ve struggled to get a seat at your favourite dining spot then it’s likely you’ll find them at Taste this summer.

Visitors will have the chance to tuck into culinary masterpieces from a wide range of cuisines, sadly we don’t spy any west African spots, but foodies will be able to sample a wide variety of dishes.

Don’t miss London’s favourite Sri Lankan and South Indian restaurant Hoppers’ heavenly Lamb Shoulder Roti, made from award-winning braised lamb shoulder curry on a flaky roti, topped with crisps, herbs and pickles. Or grab a bite of daily special Santo Remedio’s flavour-packed Baja Style Fish Taco, with beer battered fish, jalapeño mayo, pico de gallo and topped off with a spicy jalapeño mayo.

Foodies won’t want to miss cult favourite Napoli Gang’s exclusive dish the Chocorgasmo Pizza, the ultimate mouth-watering dessert with a homemade chocolate hazelnut spread, alongside a limited number of their iconic Lemon Meringue Pie famed for its towering shape.

Week one sees Indo Chinese restaurant Fatt Pundit’s delectable Crispy Sticky Bites, a never seen before exclusive dish to Taste composed of crispy veg fritters with a rich sticky ginger glaze. For those who are after something more comforting, treat yourself to Sonora Taqueria’s daily special of Short Rib and Beef Cheek Torta, with slow beer-braised beef, refried bean puree, pickled vegetables on Mexican bolillo bread.

Other highlights include the Chop It Like It’s Hot: Taste Kitchen where visitors can step it up with some of the city’s finest chefs. Also, look out for TV foodie personalities such as winner of Channel 4’s “Crazy Delicious” Joseph-Benjamin Cumberbatch (Friday 9 July) and Big Zuu of Big Zuu’s Big Eats on Wednesday 14 July.

A favourite among Taste of London visitors are the live discussions; this year, don’t miss the opportunity to hear from the next generation of culinary heroes including Masterchef: The Professionals 2020 winner Alex Webb and 2019 finalist Exose Grant, owner of Santo Remedio Edson Diaz-Fuentes and Ghanaian-British restaurateur Akwasi Brenya-Mensa.

Taste of London promises to be a fabulous summer event, where you can reunite with the restaurants and chefs you love and get to know up-and-coming talent whilst devouring the best food and drink the capital has to offer.
