Supermodel and fashion icon Naomi Campbell is the first global face of Pat McGrath cosmetics.
Now this is what we call a match made in beauty heaven; the most iconic supermodel ever and the woman who has taken beauty artistry to another level. Naomi and Pat have enjoyed a long-time friendship as well as a muse + artiste relationship, it was only a matter of time before the pair’s iconic bond spilled over into a collaboration and it is certainly worth the wait.
Breaking the news via British Vogue, “Mother”, as Pat McGrath is affectionately known by her legions of fans, said: “I am so honoured to not only be working with a legend who has changed the face of beauty forever, but to be working with a friend and a sister who I love and adore.”

As part of the campaign, Naomi stars in a new short film directed by McGrath celebrating the launch of her new Divine Rose Collection.
Naomi, who recently celebrated turning 50, unbelievably only landed her first beauty campaign ever with makeup brand NARS in 2018. She has led countless high-profile fashion campaigns, but in beauty? Not so much, so this collaboration is even more significant, as McGrath explains: “The fact that this is the first time Naomi has been the face of a beauty brand founded by a woman— and not to mention a fellow woman of colour – after 34 years in the business, makes it even sweeter.”
We love to see two women of colour at the top of the game and celebrating each other too. The admiration is mutual, with Naomi saying of London-born make-up legend Pat: “I believe in her as a friend and as chosen family, but I also want to see her do well for the industry overall. I want to see a person of colour at the top.” And she certainly is at the top, last year, Times Magazine named Pat as one of their ‘100 Most Influential People’ and her makeup brand, Pat McGrath Labs was valued $1 billion. Now, that is what self-made looks like!
