When the weather gets this cold, it’s no wonder that we begin to plan our holiday escapes to warmer destinations and for many of us, this normally includes a beach nearby. With great timing, travel website, FlightNetwork has released their very first annual list of the top beaches in the world.
More than 600 bloggers and travel journalists offered their opinions on what they think are the best 50 beaches in the world. Speaking to Metro, they said: “This is truly the most up to date and definitive list in the world and will help your readership decide their winter holidays in the coming months.”
By looking at destinations across Europe, North and South America, Asia and Africa, the beaches were ranked by annual days of sunshine, the quality of their sand and water, average temperature, remoteness and how well they’ve remained reasonably untouched.”
