Beyoncé and Solange appear to have a loving, sisterly relationship, but when you’re in the same business it’s only a matter of time before some serious sibling rivalry gets underway.
This year’s BET Awards on 25 June 2017, sees older sister Beyoncé nominated for seven BET Awards with Solange competing in some of the same categories.
The Formation singer and her younger sibling are both nominated for video of the year and best female R&B/pop artist.
As usual, Beyoncé has the most amount of nominations for the awards show, followed by Bruno Mars with five.
Both artists are nominated for album of the year, video of the year, the viewer’s choice award and video director of the year.
Last year, Beyoncé won the video of the year for Formation, and she is nominated again, this time for Sorry, competing against Solange, rapper Big Sean, and Bruno Mars.
The sisters will also battle it out for best female R&B/pop artist, along with Rihanna, Mary J. Blige and Kehlani.
The BET Awards take place at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles.
