The nominations for the British Academy Television Awards (BAFTAS) 2017 were announced by “Chewing Gum” actress Michaela Coel and “Broadchurch” actor Andrew Buchan this morning (11 April) at BAFTA’s London headquarters.

The awards, which will take place on 14 May at London’s Royal Festival Hall, gave a couple of nods to a few of our favourites.

Wunmi Mosaku, (read our feature on her) is up for Best Supporting Actress for Damilola, Our Loved Boy. Babou Ceesay, who is appearing in Sky Atlantic’s Guerrilla later this week, was nominated for Lead Actor in the same drama.
