We’re pretty big on entrepreneurship and seeing women succeed in achieving their ambition to run their own businesses at Melan Magazine, which is why we are thrilled to see that She.Leads.Africa’s travelling business bootcamp, “SheHive”, is headed to London this September.
She.Leads.Africa is a community as well as an organization, that aims to support and nurture young African women to become business moguls, “motherland moguls” as they call it. One of the ways they do this is through pan-African and world-wide events, such as the upcoming SheHive event in London taking place between 21-24 September 2017 at the Africa Centre.
Widening the net, the London SheHive event is about providing a platform for all women of colour who are seeking successful careers in the entrepreneurial world. If you are looking for where to get tips and advice from other entrepreneurs and searching for opportunities to network and connect with people to help you move on to the next stage of your business, then you need to be at this event.
She.Leads.Africa is a real phenomenon and the team behind the organization is extremely passionate about creating the next generation of business leaders.
On each of the days, visitors can expect to hear talks and panel discussions from familiar UK personalities and brands. After all, there is nothing more powerful than hearing testimony from those who have already walked the walk. On the agenda are Afua Hirsch, Social Affairs and Education editor for Sky News, Emeka and Ideyinwa Frederick, co-founders of Chuku’s London, Khalia Ismain, founder of Jamil, Eryca Freemantle Global beauty ambassador and TV personality, Mariatu Turay, founder of Gitas Portal Fashion Boutique and many more.
If you’re looking for inspiration to nudge you along your business journey, head on down to SheHive. Who knows, it might be the lead that you have been waiting for.
