Actress, entrepreneur, and busy mom-of-two Tia Mowry-Hardrict has turned her hand to a spot of home décor designing to launch her new Tia Mowry X Etsy Collection, and it’s a thumbs up from us.
Joining the Etsy party is Family Reunion star, Tia Mowry-Hardrict, who has collaborated with nine Etsy sellers to create the Tia Mowry x Etsy limited edition, brand new home décor line designed to add calm and style to shoppers’ homes.
Etsy, the online marketplace to pick up unique and creative goods, has had a boost in recent months, with many of us rediscovering the rich and varied shopping options offered by thousands of sellers, as we wrote about in a recent article here.
During the lockdown, many of us rediscovered our inner interior design skills and turned to redecorating and refreshing our homes and this new collection will no doubt give you a few more ideas. The neutral colour palette of the collection will evoke calm and zen tones to your home décor.
In an interview with Etsy, the actress / home décor designer, said she wanted to “feel peaceful and zen” when she enters her house, a theme she represented when decorating her family’s feng shui-styled family home in Los Angeles, America. Her collection also mirrors these ideals and now, we can all shop for similar items in our homes too.
The collection includes items like cozy pillows, streamlined ceramic serving ware, and serenity-inducing candles, just to name a few.

As we’ve mentioned, a calm environment is important to Tia, and so items to help you declutter are a big theme within the collection. Tia said: “I believe that when you have a cluttered home, it leads to having a cluttered mind—which is where organization comes in.”
However, too much order can be stifling, so adding texture is a great way to introduce interest and personality into your home, as Tia explains: “Playing around with different textures within a cohesive colour scheme is a great way to preserve that minimalist vibe without things getting boring.”
