When you want to discover the best in artisanal and niche items, all roads lead to Etsy, the online marketplace for unique and creative goods. Here are our four current favourite Black-owned Etsy sellers.

Etsy

Like many digitally led industries, business has been booming for Etsy sellers in the last few months. With “outside” closed during the lockdown, shopping from the comfort and safety of our homes has been the default, according to reports.

For those who haven’t yet discovered the delights of shopping on Etsy, it is a global marketplace for special and unique items, from handcrafted pieces to vintage treasures. The site caters for all interests, from handmade skin and hair products, limited edition home décor to beautifully crafted jewellery, and much more.

Etsy is an excellent way for sellers to gain access to a global audience to sell their goods; in recent weeks, it’s been wonderful to see Black-owned shops promoted more widely.

With dozens of exceptional shops on the site, it wasn’t easy, but we’ve come up with a list of our four current favourite shops on Etsy.
