Musical star, Lurine Cato, winner of MOBO award for Best Gospel Act in 2013 has gathered an inspirational roll call of musicians to uplift spirits during these troubling times.
In the midst of the pandemic, we could do with some hope and inspiration right now. Well, the UK, Europe and World gospel singers, musicians and artists have united to give us just that, recording an elevating cover of the classic hymn, Great is Thy Faithfulness.
Released across a range of Social Media platforms, where the song has received over 14,000 views since premiering on the 29 March 2020.
Gospel star, Lurine Cato, is the mastermind behind this uplifting recording. Lurine told The Voice that they released this to remind the UK and the global community of God’s presence in the midst of these unprecedented times. “I felt inspired to bring the gospel artists and singers who love gospel together to record a song of hope and to also encourage greater unity amongst artists.”

On why this particular song? Lurine said, “We decided to record the classic hymn ‘Great is thy faithfulness’ because it is such an inspiring song. It’s a traditional hymn that will remind listeners that we can rely on God during difficult times.”
The song includes an impressive line-up with Royal Wedding lead singer Paul Lee, Kingdom Choir member Wayne Ellington, recording artist Tony Momrell, contestants and nominees from The Voice, Brit Awards and X-Factor, and more.
