Finding your perfect skin tone match in lingerie and hosiery is now a lot easier with the launch of Nubian Skin’s first ever showroom in Central London this spring.

Late April saw the launch of the Nubian Skin showroom, just five minutes’ walk from Tottenham Court Road and Goodge Street Stations, means the brand can now offer their customers a chance to have a colour match and private fitting to find their perfect nude bra and undergarments.

Ade Hassan, founder of Nubian Skin, has achieved phenomenal success with her brand since its launch in October 2014, having kitted out Beyoncé and her dancers in Nubian Skin hosiery during Queen Bey’s ground-breaking Formation World Tour.

We were invited along to the press launch and after being thoroughly pampered with mani-pedi’s and scoffing on delicious cupcakes, we caught up with Ade to ask her what opening the showroom meant to her.

“I can’t express how thankful I am for all of the support and love for my brand since we launched. It means the world to now have a space where we can take our customer service to the next level by giving our clients a bespoke colour match and fit experience.”

“Our success attests to what we knew all along, that women of colour were not being catered to. I started Nubian Skin because my nude wasn’t the nude I saw in shops. Despite the reality that women of colour have the same needs as all women when it comes to lingerie and hosiery, the industry simply doesn’t cater to us. So, I thought, it was time to rethink the definition of nude.”

“We’re looking forward to offering our customers a new, personalized lingerie experience that will focus on both colour and fit. We’re super excited to get to know the women who have been supporting us!”

Sessions are by appointment only. Book an appointment by contacting Nubian Skin at or +44 (0)203 205 0020.
