Undoubtedly, the hottest night in UK music, the 2018 BRIT Awards took place on 21 February at The O2 and Stormzy, quite rightly, took the opportunity to shine the spotlight on Grenfell.
But before that, the ladies took to the red carpet in all their finery, making the night also about style, beauty and solidarity.
Grime MC, Stormzy was the trailblazing winner of the night, breaking boundaries by winning British Album of the Year, becoming the first Grime artist to do so and British Male Artist. Along with US rapper Kendrick Lamar who also graced the stage winning International Male Artist, it’s safe to say these men are dominating the music scene at the moment.
Congratulations also to Jorja Smith for winning the Critics’ Choice Award.
Speculation before the big night was rife about the dress code in light of the recent trend of wearing black in support of the Time’s Up and Me Too movements, but the red carpet was awash with glamorous and glitzy dresses. However, many of the celebrities, both British and international turned up to the star-studded night wearing or holding a white rose in support of the movements.
So, without any delays, here are our best looks at the 2018 Brit Awards.
