Jamii, which launched four years ago next month, is the go-to platform for customers to find and shop with some of the UK’s best and brightest, independent Black- owned businesses.

Following the successful impact of the first Black Pound Day last month, it’s clear that there is an unmistakable desire for shoppers to support excellent Black-owned brands and Jamii are doing their bit to highlight them by showcasing a curated selection of bold and innovative Black British brands through their very first pop-up store. Some of the brands set to join the pop up are Afrocenchix, Kiya Cosmetics and SZEND Clothing.

The pop-up store will run from Wednesday 5 until Sunday 9 August 2020.

Jamii also operates a discount card, called Jamii card, where shoppers can save up to 40% when shopping with one of their partners.

Founder of Jamii, Khalia Ismain, said: “I’ve long been passionate about how important it is to make Black-owned brands as convenient to shop as any other alternative. Bringing so many incredible products together, in such a great location as BOXPARK Shoreditch, is a fantastic chance to increase visibility and accessibility for Black businesses, as well as removing many of the barriers that prohibit customers from discovering them.”

Visit the Jamii pop-up store at BOXPARK Shoreditch between 5 – 9 August 2020.
