If you like ‘grown up’ fashion, by which we mean rich, sumptuous fabrics, precision cuts and earthy colours, then get ready to fall in love with H&M’s new Conscious Collection.
Known for using recycled and re-purposed fabric, in this 2018 Conscious collection, the brand turns to even more sustainable materials, including recycled silver and ECONYL®, a 100% regenerated nylon fibre made from fishnets and other nylon waste join organic linen, cotton and silk, TENCEL™ and recycled polyester.
Among the top models in the Lookbook is the beautiful Aamito Lagum. The Ugandan model, who is best known for winning the first season of Africa’s Next Top Model, says her favourite piece from the collection is the green evening dress. “It’s so beautiful and it’s made of recycled polyester. When I wear this collection, it makes me feel beautiful and confident at the same time.”
We love a good sustainable fashion range. With this one, there are so many pieces that we have our eye on, but we’ve pulled together some of our absolute favourites from the new collection. Check them out below.
