Our favourite TV lady, Alison Hammond has just landed her very own podcast called My Life in TV, a nostalgic series of in-depth interviews with celebrities and their life on the small screen.

My Life in TV

In the week when it was announced that Alison Hammond, would be taking over the Friday This Morning slot, along with Dermot O’Leary, the bubbly Brummie will now also be the host of My Life in TV, ITV’s first branded podcast which will feature TV favourites discussing their most loved shows, opening up about their career highs and lows, as well as the telly that shaped their childhoods.

Alison’s first guests will include Mo Gilligan, AJ Odudu, Emily Atack, Joel Dommett and Olivia Attwood.

“It’s just like me on TV, but in your ears instead!”

Each biographical style interview will candidly address highlights from each guest’s life in television – from early inspirations, to the obstacles they have overcome, favourite memories from on and off set, and the people they have met along the way.

Every Monday, Alison will conclude the interviews with a round of ‘Bin It, Binge It, Bring it Back’ which questions guests on their TV turn offs, shows they can’t get enough of and TV from yesteryear they’d love to see revived.

Speaking about her new gig, Alison said, “I’m thrilled ITV asked me to host the My Life In TV podcast and can’t wait to share the best behind the scenes stories from some of our favourite actors, comedians, presenters and reality stars. Listeners can expect a lot of laughs and telly gossip too. It’s just like me on TV, but in your ears instead!”

My Life In TV is free to download from wherever you get your podcasts from 23 November 2020.
