Nigerian British designer Duro Olowu debuted his Spring/Summer 2021 collection at the just concluded London Fashion Week 2020.
Counting the likes of Michelle Obama and Solange Knowles as fans of his work, Duro Olowu’s latest collection, shared at last week’s London Fashion Week, was “inspired by the African American artist Emma Amos, whose powerful and original use of vivid colour and texture in her wonderful paintings, collages and prints, challenged racism, sexism and social inequality”.
