Calling all 90s and Noughties Hip Hop, R&B and Soul fans, if you’re looking for a new weekly hangout in one of London’s most iconic venues, then we’ve got you. Throwback Thursday blitzed into the legendary 100 Wardour St on 6 September 2018 and kicking off the evening were charismatic music band New City Lights, and MOBO award-winning DJ, Trevor Nelson.

We went along on the opening night of the #ThrowbackThursdays series at 100 Wardour St and the atmosphere was electric. The organisers couldn’t have picked a better music group to kick start the night. New City Lights, a nine-piece band brought an energy-filled evening to the crowd with an array of 80s pop classics. You can even go that little bit further. If you book in advance, you can also enjoy dinner alongside the performance up until 10pm! You can see what they’re all about in this video here!

Once the tables were cleared away, the real party started when DJ Nelson hit the decks, playing a mixture of 80s Soul, 90s classics and Noughties hip-hop and R&B. What we most enjoyed about this night, is that despite the amount of people at the venue, it was super spacious, meaning that you and your friends will have more than enough space to dance all night! Engaging the crowd, DJ Nelson was super interactive, which got the crowds going.

Trevor Nelson Even if you’re knackered from a long day at work, there are sofas and seating areas where you can sway and dance whilst you sit down, and if you’re feeling for a drink you can pick from a selection of cocktails at the bar.

Thursdays are the new Fridays, so why not spend it with 100 Wardour St at one of their upcoming #ThrowbackThursday events?
