This year’s Spring Bank Holiday weekend just got bigger, brighter and bolder because Afro Hair & Beauty LIVE is back for 2018.

We were at the event last year and witnessed how it continues to be one of the most popular dates in the calendar for black women. It’s the ultimate day out experience filled with hair, beauty, fashion and lifestyle, not to mention it’s famous as Europe’s biggest and best afro hair and beauty show especially for every woman and man of colour.

What is Afro Hair & Beauty LIVE?

Taking up residence once again at Islington’s Business Design Centre, the event offers opportunities for guests to be pampered by more than 60 exhibitors. The show promises to have hair, beauty and lifestyle brands, bloggers and experts all under one roof giving free one-to-one advice and live demonstrations – just like on YouTube, but live demonstrations for you to interact and get involved with.

For its 37^th year, a whole host of popular afro hair and beauty brands such as Luster’s, Cantu, Palmers, Revlon Realistic, Mane Choice, Aunt Jackie’s and Twisted Sista, will be available. It’s also an event that supports new and independent, black-owned brands so you will be able to try out the latest products.

Ones to watch out for…

Luster’s presents their dazzling new paraben and mineral-oil free Shea Butter Coconut Oil range that hydrates and softens coils and curls while being super light-weight and nourishing. For men, Luster’s S-Curl is sponsoring a show-stopping Battle of the Barbers.

Urban Therapy’s Twisted Sista will be featuring their exclusive range, Clear + Nourish. It’s therapy for your hair, packed with superfruits, vitamins, minerals, omega oils and anti-oxidants.

Expect the day full of live practical seminars from the team who will provide tips and education on maintaining curls, hydration tips and different styles. If you’re looking to step up your hair game, Revlon Realistic are celebrating the launch of their Black Seed Oil range that’s designed to strengthen and grow longer and stronger hair.
