For many of us, a holiday is not complete without enjoying a serene, relaxing session at a spa of our choice.

The hustle and bustle of daily life means that every opportunity we get to indulge in acts of self-care should be grabbed with both hands. It looks like our sisters on the continent have the same idea, with ever more spa retreats gaining more popularity and opening up across every corner of Africa.

Moiyattu Banya, founder of Women, Change, Africa, an African woman’s lifestyle brand, shares a list of THE best spas to visit in West Africa.

Whether you’re looking for a massage, facial, or somewhere to get your nails done, there are numerous places that should be on your list of where you want to go to relax. There is nothing better than a good spa when hopping over to the continent for holidays. But the key is knowing where to go! I asked some of my sister friends in their various countries on the Continent about where their favorite spas to check out were, and came up with this list.

Here are five spas you to check out on your next holiday in some of my favorite cities in West Africa!
