Continuing her reign as the queen of bold and opulent makeup, Pat McGrath has unveiled two new additions to her Pat McGrath Labs range.
The legendary makeup guru took to her Instagram page to launch her Mothership IV: Decadence Eye Palette, announcing: SWATCHPORN ALERT. This new palette joins previous launches: Mothership III: Subversive, Mothership II: Sublime, Mothership I: Subliminal, and Mothership Totale.
A visual treat, the new palette is made up of rich, metallic hues. Known for being responsive to her fans, she even gave useful tips on how to apply the shades:
“GOLD STANDARD — Gild lids, inner corners and Cupid’s bow with rich, glistening yellow gold.| STERLING — Create chrome-like effects in luminous, polished silver. Use wet or dry.| HEDONISTIC — Embellish eyes in fiery, metallic crimson. | LAPIS LUXURY — Crystalline turquoise gilds lids and lines eyes with multidimensional reflection.| BLUE BLOOD — Channel your inner vamp in deep vermillion for a sultry, warm smokey eye. | INFERNO — Blitz lids in radiant metallic copper. With our eyes now looked after, Pat turned to our lips in the second announcement of her launch. We can now get our hands on 11 new Matte Trance Lipsticks from her Pat McGrath Decadence collection. As with her other products, the packaging are collector’s items themselves. The shades are divided into three categories: Skin Show (neutral nudes) in Peep Show, Femme Bot, Soft Core, Modern Woman, and Venus In Furs; Colour Blitz (bold brights) in Candy Flip, Polaroid Pink, and Faux Pas; and Vicious Venoms (sultry darks) in Vendetta, Full Blooded, and Divine Brown.
