“The concept of this shoot was to show the allure of the working woman, and how you can be glamourous, a mother and still make it all work together effortlessly, the way many women do today.”
The photographer behind this stunning shoot, Kosher Osei-Yaw, owner of studio77 London, explains the concepts he was going for in these stunning images.
Osei-Yaw, a professional photographer for nine years, has been in the modelling and studio management industry for more than 12 years. He was very clear about the theme for his shoot.
“I had two clear concepts that I wanted to illustrate. I visualised two dark skin girls wearing vibrant clothing. The baby signifies that today, black women are often juggling. I also wanted to show the models as mothers in a very traditional way. Wearing a baby on your back is very much how we do it back home In Africa.”
